Writers Workshop?

The Gospel Songwriters Workshop is a workshop designed to provide educational and practical business applications to individuals who are interested in songwriting, singing, and music. If you work with the choir or praise team of your church, you will gain a greater knowledge about how to improve your choir, praise team or group. You will also learn new material that can be used in any praise and worship service and also be used for groups and ensembles. Those who are songwriters will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge about songwriting and have a chance to present their own original material.

Who Should Attend?

If you are a person who loves singing, songwriting or you are a musician, this workshop is for you. The classes are designed to be informative at every level. Some of our classes include: Songwriting development; voice training classes; and a musicians exchange class. We also have a workshop choir for those individuals who are not soloists, songwriters or musicians, but love to sing.

Those who are professionals within the music industry will have the opportunity to access up and coming songwriters, singers and musicians as well as highlight and promote their areas of expertise.

What Can I Expect?

Expect a full 3 days worth of activities that are designed to enlighten, challenge and encourage you. Regardless of your experience and knowledge, , you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge as you share your knowledge with others.

Your workshop fee includes the following events occurring during This 3 day period:

• Admission to all Classes and seminars on songwriting, singing, music, copyrighting materials, production and much, much more.
• Workshop choir rehearsal for those who want to sing with our special workshop guest.
• Admission to our Talent Showcase and culminating Concerts.
• Admission to all our dining experiences, including our Songwriters Talent Showcase Luncheon.

The Workshop will begin on Thursday, June 23, 2011 through Saturday, June 25, 2011. We will have some exciting seminars and start working with Choir ministry, rehearsals and our musicians class. Beginning on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. that evening we will start our workshop classes. Friday morning, we will start with an opening session and more great seminars. At 6:00 p.m. we will continue our seminars and rehearsals. The songwriters will also begin to work on their individual material. Saturday at 9:00 a.m., we will complete our work and prepare for the concert. The musicians, songwriters and the choir will make presentations at the Culminating Concert.
