Working on songs of tomorrow today

Theme: 'Sing unto Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.' Ps: 33:2

• Regular registration for full 3-day workshop ends June 12.

• Late registration for full 3-day workshop is any time after June 12.

• Student rates apply for participants under the age of 18. All students under the age of 18 must add a $5.00 late fee if registering at the door.

• If you plan to participate in the Songwriters Talent showcase, you must complete a showcase registration form and submit with your Talent Showcase fee.

On June 25, 2011 you will have an opportunity to perform or introduce your original gospel song during a live performance.  Your original song will be judged and critiqued by a panel of distinguished Industry Professionals.

One song will be selected as the winning entry and the Grand Prize will be Publication of that song.  There will be a Second place recognition and a Third place honorable mention with special awards for both.

This is a serious competition and all aspects of your performance will be judged, so please put your best foot forward.  Our Songwriters Search Panel, made up of Industry Professionals, will only be able to select a total of 10-15 songs as Semi-Finalists from all of the submissions (so please do not hesitate to get your songs in by the dead line of June 12, 2011; There will be absolutely no exceptions to this dead line).

The Semi Finalists will be asked to perform or have someone to perform their original song entry on the showcase. June 25, 2011.  From those ten (10) or fifteen (15) Semi Finalists, three (3) winners will be chosen: one (1) Grand Prize, one (1) Second Prize and one (1) Third Prize.
